Gem Pack Vol 6 Booster Pack Design

Unlike earlier Simplified Chinese sets, Gem Pack series only releases one type of booster box (4 cards per pack). No slim or jumbo boxes are available. Boo!

The unique rarity system continues in Gem Pack Vol. 6, exclusive to this series:

Each pack contains 3× ● or ◆ cards, plus 1 guaranteed ★, ★★, or ★★★ card. Translation: you’re always going to get something worth showing off from this set. That’s a promise! 😉

Collector’s Tip: In previous Gem Series boxes, you were guaranteed one “3-star” rarity per box. Gem Pack 3 had a lot of error boxes without a “3-star” rarity though. Who knows what this box will hold. 👀

Revealed Cards 👀

Here we are again, with only one Simplified Chinese Exclusive card. However, we’re totally rating this a 10/10 card.

Applin, which is illustrated by Jiro Sasumo is a must-have for any cutie-patootie card collector. Jiro Sasumo has been illustrating for the Pokémon Trading Card Game since they had won the 2nd Pokémon Card Game Illustration Grand Prix. This card is definitely the apple of our eye (phew).

The Booster Pack Pull rates have confirmed there will be a total of 28 Pokémon illustrations (just like Gem Pack Vol. 4 and Gem Pack Vol. 5). Only six other illustrations have been revealed so far.

Bonus Applin Facts 🍏🍎

• As soon as Applin is born it burrows into an apple – the flavour of the apple determines its evolution.
• It spends its entire life inside an apple hiding from bird Poké
• Applin grows by eating the apple meat (can it be called meat) then uses its body fluid to prevent the apple from rotting.
• If Applin is separate from its apple it grows weak.
• Applin is type grass / dragon
